ABOUT VALERIA LARNAUDIE
Valeria is a bioengineering professional dedicated to advancing sustainable solutions in the production of biofuels and other bioproducts. With over a decade of experience, she currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Bioengineering Department at the prestigious Universidad de la República's Engineering School, where she has been an invaluable member since 2009.
Valeria's academic journey culminated in the completion of her PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of the Republic in 2018. Her expertise lies in the analysis and optimization of biofuel production processes, with experience in experimental methodologies and the conversion of biomass into valuable bioproducts. Furthermore, she specializes in conducting comprehensive techno-economic and environmental assessments to inform research, engineering, and policy decisions in the field.
Driven by a passion for education, Valeria actively engages in teaching activities related to Bioprocess Engineering and Process System Engineering.
